The Art of Figurative Painting Taught by a Master

​

Jan named the school Bruchion after the district where scholars and teachers from the ancient world gathered and lived while they studied at the two great libraries of Alexandria.It was a place where the traditions of many peoples met and mingled -- Greeks and Africans, yogis and druids, artists, historians, mathematicians -- in an atmosphere of hospitality and enlightenment that would not occur again until the Florentine Renaissance.
